Chelsea & The Haze // Bellingham, WA // October 14, 2011
Creativity is a muscle you need to work. The past two weeks have been quiet. Staying home sick and without a shoot to be proud of, I was frustrated and needed to create something to get me out of my funk and into an inspired mood. As short and simple as this video is, it brought me the spark I needed.

Psst, Readers, Over Here....
If I were to do a print giveaway, which of my photos would you want?
Screencap it, link it, write it, describe it, charades it, let me know which of my photos you would want a print of if I made this happen.
Which I’m planning to.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, but I have something for all of you!
I am excited to share some of the video tests I did today for an upcoming photo and video shoot I have next week. We have been given our Colors Assignment for the quarter and the first of the colors is red. My goal is to make a video to accompany each color along with its photo shoot.
It feels good...

Thought I’d share the summer video my dear friend/awesome lady photographer Elizabeth Rudge made that had some footage from our roadtrip down to L.A.! Beautifully done. Check it out!

Fashion Video Friday! New from me - Dark Movement
This summer I had the opportunity to assist fashion photographer Sarah St. Clair Renard in LA and during that time I was lucky enough to see her work on a fashion video shoot. Here it is! Awesome.

Here is a video I made for my shoot that I did for Cairo. It’s my first time doing video, let alone editing in Final Cut Pro, but I’m pretty happy with the results! It’s going to be fun to start thinking in terms of how an idea would translate into video rather than just still, it’s definitely the direction that fashion has been heading. I’m excited to make more of...

Soul Power
Some of the most beautiful images I have ever created up to date have lost the battle to a mechanical failure in my external hard drive this weekend. I know it may sound silly, but because of this loss I am technology-paranoid, a little hopeless and creatively devastated. I need to reshoot this weekend, and I hope that when I do I gain back some soul power.

The Heaviest Sigh
World, my hard drive is failing, so it’s gonna be a while until I put something interesting up here…. Can we still be friends?

Cold, Quiet Power
I think this may be the first cohesive mood board I have ever come up with. “Cold, Quiet, Yet Powerful”. That sounds nice. Cohesiveness is one of those things I struggle with/wish there was a pill for, so to be able to have a clear idea of what I want out of a shoot feels great! Plus, I got an awesome team I will be working with. Can’t wait to make it happen this weekend!
