I looked at myself in the mirror before I left out the door this morning, and all I could do was laugh like a little elementary schooler. I can’t even imagine what I looked like walking to school (better yet, community college) on Broadway at 8 a.m. in this ridiculousness. This year marks the 6th (yes, 6th) year that I will have been a bottle of tabasco sauce. Happy Halloween ya’ll!
Sometimes the best dreams are the ones where you find yourself gossiping with your old photo professor over coffee. I think it’s fair to say I owe Garth a life update email or at the very least an animated “I Miss You!” e-card with lettering that sparkles. If only we could make them perfume-scented too.

Sometimes you stay up until 2:31 a.m. listening to music and making fake album art with your photos you thought you would never use. It’s fine, I promise.
But in all seriousness, lately, I have been spotting album art, magazine layouts, photos on blogs, little fashion spreads, just artistic thaaangs here and there and as I pass them by I think in my head, “I COULD HAVE DONE THAT! I WANT TO DO THAT! AHHHH SOMEONE TAKE ME IN WITH YOUR MAGAZINE AND LET ME MAKE COOL THINGS FOR YOU!”
Not angry, just passionate.
*Sigh*
Anyways, I’m not trying to complain. I just can’t help but see these things and get fireflies in my stomach because I really, really, really want to get to that point in my life where I just make art for people and their music and their magazines and their fashion and their festivities and their humble and not-so-humble abodes and their everything and I really, really, really know I can.
I just hate waiting. In the meantime I guess I will just make more fake album art!

So a while back my good friend Kyle, (the same one who I did an image for his band Hunting Hat www.myspace.com/huntinghatmusique) started an audio podcast project called “From The Subdued West” to explore the experiences of both students and residents in Bellingham (where I used to live/really miss).
