Strange, beautiful things happen when you visit your good friends in Bellingham, The City of Subdued Excitement.

Totally made it through the whole day wearing my dad’s tacky office socks and my platform wedges!

Totally got a sexy senior pic postcard in the mail from my best friend who’s in Scotland!

I made this on the smelly bus ride from Bellingham back to Seattle for…..
B L I N D A R T D A T E (this will be something great, pinky promise)
Think about it. Let it sink in. And we’ll talk more about this later.

This is how I feel like right now…only with a cool border. Like I just pooped my jeggings. Which, by the way I have been doing over the past 2 days. Monday I embark on the two year journey of the Commercial Photography Program at Seattle Central. Did you know I waited over a year just to find out whether or not I even get in? Well, now is the moment I have been waiting for and I am scared shitless (pun not intended). And on top of that, in a couple weeks, I have to get ready for a move into my new apartment.
Dear Oprah, please give me the strength to make it through these next couple days/years. Also send me a lifetime supply of jeggings. XOXO Carmen

Hi, my name is Carmen Daneshmandi, I’m a 20 year old photo student in Seattle and this is my photo blog (let’s see how this goes!) All images on here are done by me so please don’t take any images without giving credit! Lately, I like to re-contextualize, layer (Gilbert + George!), incorporate geometric shapes and lines, sew on photographs and transparency (think John Stezaker). I also like old school hip hop, spicy foods and Bill Cosby.
Oh, hey, this is a picture of me and my photo booth lover (boi friend). The other people in the background aren’t my lovers (I wish!), but that’s okay.
i am a visual carnivore and the world is a hungry carnival
