White Shoot // January 26th, 2012 // Model: Savannah @ SMG// MUA: Elena Rodriguez// Pigeon Holders: Elena Rodriguez and Karaline

Equipped with lots of white, two ceramic pigeons and transparency paper, I finally shot my first agency model a couple weeks ago. You wouldn’t believe it but yes, those are two ceramic pigeons and yes, I do find inspiration in the home decor section of Value Village. 

Having never shot an agency model thoughts like I wonder what her past shoots were like? or Will the shoot go well? or How will she feel about the ceramic pigeons?  and Did I get good snacks? kept coming to mind. 

I am so thankful for the team I had and to be working with someone like Savannah was refreshing to say the least. She was so open to any idea I threw her way, was diverse with her poses and just created a very fun, creative and positive atmosphere. 

I’ll say it once, I’ll say it again. A photograph is a reflection of the contribution and collaboration of not just the photographer or the model but of everyone present and the experience as a whole. I hope that every shoot I do helps facilitate that.
