Youth In Focus “Who Are We Campaign” // Non-Profit Campaign // Winter 2011

Over the course of this past quarter, I had the privilege and honor to work with and execute an ad campaign for the wonderful people behind Youth In Focus. The final eight images shown are a result of a true collaboration; these images wouldn’t be as impactful had I not had the openness and handwritten truths of those photographed or the support and much appreciated communication from those I coordinated with at Youth In Focus.

Each portrait had a great conversation, a piece of advice, something shared, all these things that hushed the stress and self doubt that usually comes with the end of the quarter and reminded me why I picked up a camera in the first place. People. Connections. The stories behind the image.
